Exhibitions

Curated by graffiti writer, SUSO33 as a tribute to Chalfant, the exhibition was originally presented in the fall of 2018 at the Centro de Arte Tomas y Valiente (CEART), Madrid and titled Art is Not a Crime. Now on view at the Bronx Museum of the Arts through March 2020, Henry Chalfant: Art vs.Transit, 1977–1987 is Chafant's first U.S. retrospective and the first major museum exhibition dedicated to the origins of subway art. The exhibition will next travel to an international venue, details of which will soon be announced.
